This route starts from São João da Boa Vista towards Santo Antônio do Jardim and the access to the volcanic caldera at its highest point is on the Fazenda Cachoeira road. On this route there are many historic farms and, at Fazenda Cachoeira, there are lively June festivals and traditional fairs promoted by the local Diocese. Very close to this farm, you can see Pedra do Violinista. Going up along the way, you will find the Santa Cecília Waterfall and at the highest point you will reach Pico do Gavião with a visual experience of the grandeur of the volcano's caldera.
